Meet the Dodge County Hospital Authority Board Members
& the Hospital Administration Team

The authority is charged with setting policy for the hospital and is comprised of nine volunteer members who represent the community. Authority members are appointed by the county commission and meet monthly. The hospital Chief-of-Staff also attends.

Our Board

MR. PAUL JONES, CHAIRMAN

Mr. Jones is a lifelong resident of Dodge County. He is married to the former Nan Skipper of Eastman, and together they have five children and two grandchildren.

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant. He worked for Dodge County Hospital from 1987 - 2002, so he has a first-hand knowledge of the complexities of running a hospital.
He began in the Accounting Department and was the Chief Financial Officer when he left to begin his own business.

Mr. Jones enjoys spending time on his farm, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandsons, Cade and Jackson. 

MR. WILBUR GARRETT, SECRETARY/TREASURER

Mr. Garrett, a Florida native, moved to Dodge County as a teenager, attending and graduating from Dodge County High School. He spent four years in the navy prior to attending Georgia State University, graduating with a degree in Accounting. After his college years, Mr. Garrett settled in Atlanta with his wife of forty-eight years, the former Kay Barlow. Mr. and Mrs. Garrett lived in Atlanta for thirty-three years. Mr. Garrett spent a total of thirty-two years in the Federal Government's employ, with twenty-eight of those spent working for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

In addition to serving on the Hospital Board, Mr. Garrett is also a member of the Ocmulgee Electric Membership Corporation’s (OEMC) Foundation Board. He and Miss Kay attend Gresston Baptist Church. They enjoy limited traveling and being outdoors. Mr. Garrett says it’s a good thing too, since he spends a lot of time on his lawn mower!
 

MINISTER CECIL BARDEN

Minister Barden is the son of Mr. C.T. and Mrs. Bertha Barden. He graduated from Mercer University in 1992 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Atlanta Extension center). Mr. Barden has a lovely wife, Joyce, to whom he has been married for fifteen years, and two children, Alora - his 9-year-old daughter, and her four-year-old brother Aren.

He served in the Armed Forces - an army war veteran of Desert Storm. His hobbies include playing basketball and watching all kinds of sports on television, and he really enjoys spending time with his family.

Minister Barden is the Pastor and Founder of Faith In Action Baptist Church in Eastman, Georgia (1998). Additionally, he is the Resident Services Coordinator at Eastman Housing Authority where he has been employed for fifteen years.  

MR. MITCHELL COFFEE

Mr. Coffee is a life-long resident of Dodge County. He and his wife, Susan, have a son and a daughter. They attend First United Methodist Church in Eastman. Mr. Coffee is the owner of Coffee Farms, a Rotary member, and is involved in many activities in the Eastman-Dodge County area. 

DR. DAN HARRELL, VICE CHAIRMAN

Dan Harrell, D.M.D., is a native of Dodge County and has maintained a private practice here since February 1979, shortly after he received his degree. Dr. Harrell attended Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC from 1972 to 1975. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, graduating in 1978.

Dr. Harrell is a member of the United First Methodist Church where he has served as a Sunday School teacher, administrative council chairman, and member of various committees. He is active in the community, serving on the Recreation Board, the American Cancer Societey, the American Heart Association, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Harrell is member of the Eastman Rotary Club, a past president, and a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a member of the Dodge County Hospital Foundation Board, and has served as a past Secretary-Treasurer and been a member of the Dodge County Hospital Board since May 2002.  

BLAKE MILNER, M.D.

Dr. Blake Milner is a lifelong resident of Dodge County. He is married to Sherry Mashburn Milner, of Hawkinsville, and they have two children.

He has been in medical practice in Eastman for 6 years. Dr. Milner obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and his residency training at Greenwood Family Practice Residency, Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina. He served as Chief of Staff at Dodge County Hospital in 2008. He is also the medical director at Eastman Y.D.C. and Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.

He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and Ocmulgee Medical Society.

Dr. Milner enjoys fishing, horseback riding, and farming. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. 

MR. MANDEL TRENT MULLIS

Mr. Mullis, a native of Dodge County, is an alumni of Dodge County High School,
Middle Georgia College, and the University of Georgia. He graduated with a degree in agronomy. He was widowed in 2008 after thirty years of marriage to Barbara Rogers.
He has three children - Amanda Moore, Mara Mullis, and Josh Mullis, and three grandchildren, Marlie Moore, Kamden Graham, and Maddox Mullis. He attends church
at Plainfield Baptist in Dodge County.

Mr. Mullis worked for Gold Kist, Inc. for twenty years until it was acquired by another cooperative, Southern States, Inc., in 1998. He currently works as a Field Sales Associate out of the Cochran, Georgia office of Southern States. Mr. Mullis is very active in the community, and enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren,
and friends. 
  

DR. TODD PEACOCK

Dr. Michael Todd Peacock is a native Georgian, born in McRae, Georgia. A graduate of Valdosta State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science with Honors, Dr. Peacock obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1994. His internship and residency was performed at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC 1994 - 1997. Dr. Peacock came to the Eastman community to practice in 1997 and continues to practice at Dodge County Hospital.

Dr. Todd Peacock holds professional membership status in the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Ocmulgee Medical Society, and other comparable organizations. He became a member of the Dodge County Hospital Authority Board in 2009. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Eastman-Dodge Chamber of Commerce and the Miss Magnolia Midlands Scholarship Pageant. 

MR. REGGIE SHEFFIELD

Arthur R. (Reggie) Sheffield grew up on a small farm in Dodge County. He graduated from Dodge County High School in 1970. He received a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degree from the University of Georgia. While finishing his Master’s degree he worked briefly as a teacher at Rhine Elementary School. He was employed for 10 years at the Georgia Farm Bureau in Macon before coming to work at Citizens Bank and Trust Company in Eastman in 1987. Presently he is the Executive Vice-President and a member of the Board of Directors at C B & T.

Reggie is an ordained deacon and Sunday School teacher at the Eastman First Baptist Church. He is president of the Eastman Rotary Club for 2009-2010.

Reggie has been married to the former Ellen Lewis for 28 years. They have two sons. Philip and his wife, Rachel, live in Tyler, Texas. Andrew and his wife, Kimberly, live in Kansas City, Missouri. He has served on the Dodge County Hospital Authority Board for four years. 

DR. HABIGAILE CRIBE, CHIEF-OF-STAFF

Dr. Habigaile Cribe graduated from the Oral Roberts University on the Dean’s List in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and French.  She received her Medical Degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 1998 and served her residency at the Michigan State University in Grand Rapids in the Department of Internal Medicine in 2001.  

Dr. Cribe is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is affiliated with the American College of Physicians.      

Dr. Cribe began her practice in Eastman in April 2001 and is a valued asset of the medical Community in Dodge County.  She is married, with one child and enjoys spending time with her family.   

Dr. Cribe currently serves as Chief of Staff for Dodge County Hospital.
