Quality Manager
RN required

As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals for this facility using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft or Excel
- 1-3 years of management preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Works to positively support and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the approach to patient-centered care, and in serving our caregivers, customers and community.

· Works as a positive, change agent and transformational leader in alignment with company’s organizational values.

· Gathers and analysis clinical data from medical record and reports to identify trends in delivery of care.

· Ensures clinical documentation meets current standards and policies.

· Applies quality assurance criteria and nursing documentation standards

· Works with leadership and staff to implement approved policies and procedures that reflect current regulatory standards and best practice.

· Keeps up to date with applicable federal and state laws and regulations

· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.

· Coordinates performance improvement program and develops process improvement plans in coordination with staff and leadership.

· Process Improvement plans are implemented based on data trends and as indicated through observation or other means.

· Reports data to appropriate Medical and Governing committees.

· Oversees preparation for regulatory agencies, educates and assists department managers to maintain appropriate policies and procedures to fulfill requirements and regulations.

· Participates in risk management and safety activities.

· Provides support and assistance to medical staff officers, committee chairpersons and Governing Body, as required.

· Utilizes information obtained via performance improvement activities to seek and act on opportunities to improve patient care processes.

· Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.

· Completes monthly quality related data entry analysis and reporting

· Provides education and training focused on quality data and performance improvement projects

· Coordinates QAPI Team meetings.

· Other duties as assigned.
